Reflections of His Life

Silas was born on July 5, 1952 to the late Rose Turner in Newellton, Louisiana. Silas was raised by the late Luella Alexander. He graduated from Newellton High School in 1970. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in the mid 70's where he met the love of his life, Bernice Jacobs.

Silas was a hard worker, he retired from Teamster 631. Silas was a funny, outgoing, loving, caring man. He was a people person, to know Silas is to love him. There was never a dull moment when Silas was in the room. He loved to spend time with his family, especially on holidays.
