Austin Allen, age 36, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on August 1, 2026. He was born on July 16, 1990, in Chicago, Illinois, to Yolanda Allen and the late Martin Shanklin.

Austin was a loving and caring husband, devoted father, beloved son, brother, and friend.

Above all else, Austin loved his children and would do anything for them. His children were a tremendous part of his heart and his life, and the love he had for them will continue to live on through them.

Austin leaves behind his loving wife, Jondese Allen, and his six beloved children: Kimani Allen, Nevaeh Allen, Jasmi'Yana Allen, Ja'Kyla Allen, Jasper Allen, and Justyce Allen.

Austin was a hardworking man who dedicated himself to providing for his family. He built a career in security and, through determination and hard work, went on to open his own security company in Arizona alongside his wife, Jondese. Building a business of their own was an accomplishment he could be proud of and a reflection of his determination, ambition, and desire to create a better future for his family.

Austin had a love for music and was a passionate fan of the Golden State Warriors.

Those who knew him will remember the things that made him uniquely Austin—his personality, his love for his family, and the memories he created with the people closest to him.

Austin is also survived by his mother, Yolanda Allen; his sisters, Ashley Mosley and Emani Shanklin; his brother, Oscar Rich; his aunts, Mia, Shanika, and Eboni; his uncle Ray; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Shanklin; his grandmother, Ethel Conley; and his brother, Arsennial Allen.

Though Austin's life was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of his wife, children, family, and friends. His children will carry his name, his love, and his memory with them throughout their lives.
