Willie Gene Ross was born in Lorraine Ohio on April 22, 1957 to Charlie Ross Sr and Willie Mae Ross. In 1959 the family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. Willie Gene attended Clark High School where he graduated. "Genie" as we all knew him kept himself busy. He worked for Silver State Republic (Teamster), Wittlesea Cab (Mechanic), and Gaudin Ford as a detailer. Beside his unconditional love for this Children Cory and Crystal his other love was being a mechanic. Genie kept his head in those Auto Books and he passes his legacy down to his Son Cory. Genie loved his 1972 White Thunderbird "that was his baby". Genie took care of the neighborhood as well as they took care of him. He was greatly appreciated for fixing on vehicles. He was a kind hearted man and would give you the shirt off his back No Questions asked. We all can agree the "Give him fifty feet was one of his favorite sayings. In Genie younger years he had a love for Roller Skating. His daughter Crystal was the only one in the neighborhood who knew how to roller blade because of her dad. On family nights we would sure to find him at Crystal Palace Skating Ring. Lets not forget he loved his mothers sweet potato pie and wasn't bad in the kitchen himself.
