Mr. Ray Edward Barnes was born in Bogalusa, LA to late Samuel Barnes and Tressie Glispie on June 2, 1962.
He attended school at Western High School of Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated in1980. After high school Ray went straight into the work force. Working at the Flamingo Hilton and he love doing timeshares down town and on the Las Vegas Strip. Ray was an avid basketball fan and loved to put in tickets and watch the games..... Ray enjoyed nothing more than to spend time with his friends and family laughing and joking and exaggerating a story or two.. Ray loved to dance and smile he was the life of the party.

Ray greatest joy in life was being a father and grandfather he loved his kids and grandchildren more than anything and spoke of them with pride often...
