Jesus Miguel Butanda-Miranda was born on October 4, 1957 to the union of Domingo Butanda and Mariaester Veneges - Miranda in Mexico City, Mexico.
He spent his childhood in Mexico and later moved to America as a young adult. He was married to his first wife in 1976; they welcomed their son, Eleodoro, on October 17, 1977 and their daughter, Elvira, on December 12, 1979.
He later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he lived the remainder of his life. He married his wife, Maria Campos, on November 14, 2004; together they raised two boys; Orlando and Jorge.
Jesus' family, friends, and work were the most important parts of his life.He was a skilled craftsman of many trades including: farming, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, and rigging. He was employed at Freeman as a Rigging Journeyman for 18 years. He was known as a problem-solver who often took on difficult or unwanted projects at work and around the house. He was a hardworking man who worked from dusk to dawn rarely taking a day off.
He also enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, traveling to Mexico, listening to banda music, watching his favorite teams: the Miami Dolphins and Club America.
He lived his life with honor, integrity, and pride and had great passion for his Mexican values, heritage, and culture.
