Ella Hunt

Sister Ella Lee Hunt was born in Baton Rouge Louisiana, On May 14th, 1943 to Leola Taylor and Lawrence Harris. Ella was the second oldest sister of thirteen children which eight precedes her in death. Ella was a active member in Church for over thirty five years. Ella loved the lord.

Ella also enjoyed singing, fishing, and playing the drums in church. Her cooking was amazing, everyone loved it. Ella cooked for pre-school kids at a Christina Church; the pastor even fell in love with her cooking. She also cared for many people mentally and physically Ella helped a lot of people she was always willing to go the extra mile for anyone. Her family was always first Priority. She was the best grandmother anyone could have.

Ella worked for the Riviera Hotel for over twenty years as GRA and in the uniform room: she retired at the age of sixty two. She met and married the love of her life Charles Hunt on April 21st, 1973 and stayed married to him until his death.
