Ms. Hattie B Thompson was borrowed from heaven on June 22, 1951 by her parents David Thompson and Wyome Mays Thompson. Hattie carried on the legacy of the Thompson Family name as she was named after her late Grandmother, Hattie B Thompson. Hattie was born and raised in Bastrop, Louisiana. She later relocated to Los Angeles, California after the passing of her father. Hattie's mother married Howard Brown after the death of David Thompson.
Hattie accepted Christ at a young age. She had a passion for youth and began to work in the Youth Ministry Department at Rose of Sharon COGIC Los Angeles, California under the leadership of Bishop Clarence Lewis. Hattie was so excited about her love for Christ and her church life that she shared her relationship with Christ with her Mother and two older sister, Eva Mae and Rosalee. Each of them subsequently accepted Christ.
Hattie made sure her six children went to church and developed a relationship with Christ. Each of them accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior.
In 2013, Hattie relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. She became an active member of Ambassadors For Christ Faith Ministries under the leadership of her oldest son, Pastor Stevie R. Thompson. She became a member of the Mother's Board. Her faithfulness was reqarded with the perfect attendance award at their Annual Christmas Banquet.
On August 14, 2019 at 3:05AM she made her transition to be with Christ.
