Ms. Annie Ruth Monroe was born in Jackson, Mississippi on November 21, 1956 to Mr. John D. and Mrs. Annie Mae Monroe. She was the second born of five siblings. She was the oldest daughter, which lead her to become like a second mother in her family. she was definitely a loving caregiver. She loved her family and it showed.

Ms. Annie Ruth grew up here in Las Vegas and graduated from Western High School. She worked as a food server in the casinos for many years. She later married Ernest Hayes. She worked hard all her life unselfishly for family and those around her. She cooked large meals for every holiday, shopped and cleaned their home from top to bottom. She was an angel. Most recently, she lovingly cared for her mother who suffers from dementia. She was an amazing woman but most importantly she had a personal relationship with our Lord and Saviour; Jesus Christ. Her last words expressed the love that she had for the Lord and her family. She will be greatly missed by all of us who loved her.
