Willie Clinton Cornelius was born to the late Clinton and Lula Belle Cornelius on July 18, 1945 in Adel, Ga. He departed this earthly life on Friday, March 6, 2020. He was preceded in death by brother: John Cornelius of Lake Wales, FL and sister: Shirley Mathis of Spark, GA.

He was a man of many talents and strengths. An innovator, explorer, and a pioneer who moved by his own will as he courageously pursued many opportunities of travel, entrepreneurship, and various life pursuits.

Willie/Joe/Clint/Corne/Cornelius was as multifaceted as his many names. He was loved, adored, and awed by family, friends, co-workers, and those who came into contact with him. He wooed with his charm, dazzled with his beautiful side smile, made you take notice to his words and deeds with his bold and no nonsense stature, that brought an umbrella of protection to many loved ones.

He availed himself to churches, lodges, and veteran service organizations within the community. He held a leadership position within the Clark County School District Support Services Union where he fought for the rights of many. He was the family proclaimed historian who shared wonderful stories of old.
