William Thomas Jr. was born to William Thomas and Luetta Thomas. He was the eldest of four children. 3 sisters; Darlene, Dorothy, Barbara and one brother. His family all proceeded him in death.

William Thomas, Jr. was baptized in California.

Thomas graduated from high school and he joined the Air Force. After reaching the rank of Sergeant, he left the military and moved to Las Vegas. He worked for the Economic Opportunity Board (E.O.B.) and later worked for Vegas Valley Water District.

Thomas met Tita Griffin 1974 and to this union two daughters were born; Barbara and Sharon Thomas.

Thomas moved to Newark, New Jersey to attend college for computer. He then moved to California to be close to his family. In 2017, Thomas moved back to Las Vegas.

Thomas battled liver cancer.
