Life Reflections of Mercedes LaKay Banks

Mercedes LaKay Banks was born December 11, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the daughter of David Lee Scott ll and the late Lou Eva Banks. As a lifelong Las Vegan, Mercedes attended and successfully completed her education at Matt Kelly Elementary, Mabel Hoggard Elementary. Harold Brinley Junior High School and Western High School where she was a proud graduate in 1983.

 Mercedes also attended UNLV before beginning her career as a medical billing clerk for the State Industrial Insurance System (SIIS) in 1983 where she worked for over 10 years. in 1944, Mercedes went to work at Sierra Health Services as a medical claims representative and as a Specialized Program Teacher's Assistant for the Clark County School District. Mercedes enjoyed watching movies and playing Uno with her family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping and being in the company of all children--she loved the "kids".

Life Reflections of Dino Bushard Banks

Dino Bushard Banks was born December 9, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was the son of David Lee Scott ll and the late Lou Eva Banks. As a lifelong Las Vegan. Dino attended and successfully completed his education at Matt Kelly Elementary, Mabel Hoggard Elementary, Harold Brinley junior High School and Western High School where he was a proud graduated in 1984. 

Dino began his career at McCarran International Airport in 1984 as a passenger transporter later becoming a skycap, follow in his father's footsteps. Later, he worked as a car attendant at National Car Rental and then as a custodian for the Clark County School District. Dino loved classic cars and old school music. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
