Sandra Fielder

Sunrise: November 1, 1958                Sunset: May 7, 2019

On the morning of May 7, 2019 at 7:42 am, the angel of silence came and with chilly fingers sealed the lips of a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Sister Sandra Elaine McCormick-Fielder. Her soul winged its flight from the world of sin, sorrow, and pain to a place of eternal rest.

Sandra, one of four children born to the union of Willie and Lorine McCormick in Haldeberg, MS. Sandra at an early age, accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. 

In 1964 Sandra's parents relocated to Las Vegas, NV where she attended Matt Kelly Elementary, Cashman Junior High and graduated from Clark High School in 1975. In 1976, Sandra attended Jackson State University in Jackson, MS.

Sandra later returned to Las Vegas, NV where she held employment at several places such as Caesar's Palace, Nevada Test Site, Sam's Town Hotel and Casino, and the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino to name a few.

Sandra married her first husband Herbert Jones and to that union Lamica Nacole Jones was born. Sandra would later remarry to George Fielder and to that union Jaquin Larine Fielder was born. 

Sandra was known for her angelic spirit, BIG smile and loving heart. Sandra's children and grandchildren relied on her willingness to always be there no matter the time or the reason. Sandra was very family oriented, loving, and a REAL mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, granddaughter and friend.
