Robert L. Drummond Sr.
November 30, 1939 - November 13, 2020
On November 30, 1939, Floyd Foster Sr. and Fannie Clark welcomed a new addition to their family. Robert Leroy Drummond better known as "Bob" was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in a home with strong Christian values. At an early age he accepted Christ as his Lord and savior at Clinton Street Greater Bethlehem Temple in Michigan.
Bob was "Daddy" to all of his children's and yes he had many. Daddy had several loves of his life and whether married or not, if his current love had children, those kids were his. He did not make a difference. To him, they were all biological children born to Bob, and his love to each was unconditional.
Though we called him "Daddy" he had many nick names. "Cool Breeze," "Bulldog," and to some of his closet friends he was "Bobcat". The stories behind those names will rest with "Daddy and his closet friends had better keep their lips sealed. He was a smooth cat and would often say "you better ask somebody".
On November 13, 2020, Bob made his transition from labor to rest. He fought a good fight and remained faithful to God's word. Though we grieve heavily today, we know we shall see him again.
