December 2, 1941 - November 21, 2020

James Edward Brown (affectionately known as J.B.) was born December 2, 1941 in Richmond, Virginia to James and Addie Brown ( both whom preceded him in death). J.B. graduated from Armstrong High school in 1960 and soon thereafter enlisted into the United States Air Force, earning an Associated Degree in Avionics Technology. His enlistment with the Air Force resulted in him serving two tours in Vietnam. He furthered his education by attending Georgia Military College, Chaffey Community College, Regents College and California State University Long Beach.

After serving his country for 26 1/2 years, J.B. retired from the Air Force in 1987 from Castle Air Force Base in Merced, California with the prestigious title of Senior Master Sargent. He then found employment with Douglas Aircraft Company (Boeing) with the positions of a level 5 senior Manufacturing Analyst, Internal Auditor and Senior Specialist Auditor. It is here where he met Sylvia Bass, and the two were joined in marriage on June 27, 1992 and were happily married until death.
