Mr. Ralph Lewis, Sr., the fourth child of Alvin & Bertha Lee Lewis was born in November 19, 1956 in Compton, California. Ralph attended public schools of Compton and graduated from Compton High School in 1974. after graduating high school he began work for Boeing: The Boeing Company as a Structural Mechanic. On November, 17, 1979, he married the love of his life, Jacquelyn Kilgore. A month before they were to celebrate their first son, Ralph, Jr, (October 1980). Three years later would come their second son, Christopher Armand (September 1983). Many years later, they were blessed with a little girl that they named Marcell Denise (May 1997).
Ralph worked as hard and consistently to provide for his family. After dedicating 36 years of service, working the dreaded graveyard shift he retired in 2014. After retirement, Ralph moved to North Las Vegas, Nevada to his second home where he would become closer to his grandchildren. A a retiree he simply lived lie and enjoyed every moment. Ralph was always freshly dressed and always eager to go different places and try new things. He enjoyed being out and about with family and friends, golfing, attending sporting events and taking trips with the fellas. You could always tell when "Pops" was at home relaxing because he would call the kids a few times a day to talk about anything that came to mind or to ensure plans made the previous day were still to go. His warm smile and unforgettable laugh brightened many days and welcomed many people.
On Friday, January 18, 2019, Ralph Lewis, Sr. passed away unexpectedly in his home. although Ralph had plans to Attend Raiders games as a loyal fan, travel and spend more time with his family and friends, the family finds comfort in knowing he enjoyed his life to the fullest.
