Rachelle Charlotte Williams was born June 12, 1980 to Ray Charles and Bertha M. Williams in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rachelle was the third of four children born to this union and she was affectionately known as Ray Ray or Ray. She was very close to her father, Ray Charles and was a true Daddy's girl.
Rachelle received her formal education from Las Vegas Academy where she was a Choir major and studied singing. Rachelle accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was united with Greater Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Earl Henry Sr.
Rachelle accepted her calling to preach and was ordained as an Associate Pastor in 2018 under the leadership of Pastor Jerry L. Page. At Greater Faith Baptist Church, Rachelle wore many hats. Rachelle was the youth pastor, Honorary Usher, Choir Director, member of the Praise Team, and she led many songs. Rachelle was committed to her church and was a faithful member. Rachelle assisted her Pastor when needed by conducting church service and teaching bible study. Rachelle was a powerful Minister and used her calling to spread the Word of God Around the community every chance she got. Rachelle was also a Gospel Recording Artist with Evangelist Althea Brown and Friends and she sang with various groups throughout the city to include: Angels of Faith, Just for Christ and Friends of Gospel. Rachelle was everything to many people and she was well known throughout the Las Vegas Valley church community. Rachelle was employed by Clark County Department of Family Services-Safe at home program in Las Vegas, Nevada until her health failed. Rachelle was praised by her co-workers as being helpful and friendly. Her Manager, Brenda Barnes, say "Rachelle was my rock. Without her talents, support and friendship we wouldn't have been able to assist as many families in the community as we had". Rachelle loved God, her family and church family. No matter what was going on Rachelle always had a smile on her face.
