Our beloved brother, son, father, uncle, cousin and friend passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019. Major was born June 10, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Ollie Walker Johnson and Leffie D. Walker 1.

Major was a fun-loving child who enjoyed his family. Major played the drums, loved to cook, he loved to sing, and he was an avid sports fan. He loved the Dallas Cowboys. Major accepted Christ in 1968 under the leadership of the late Nathaniel Whitney of the Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church.

Major was an honor student at Rancho High School and graduated at 16 in 1975. In 1976 he relocated to Saginaw, Michigan and started working for General Motors. In late 1977, he returned to Las Vegas, Nevada and started working at Nevada Test Site. On March 17, 1978 he married Vivian Dottery. In late years, Major went to school driving trucks. Major worked for Fleet Delivery Service for a couple of years, then he went to work for Warner's Trucking Company. Major will be remembered for his sense of style, his hearty laughter, his love of music, old T.V. shows on TV land. Major's mother Ollie Walker Johnson, proceeded him in death.
