Lawrence James Cato, Sr. was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma
on January 13th, 1938 to the union of William Cato, Sr.and Lucille Grant Cato, 15 minutes before his twin sister,
Florence. Lawrence attended grade school in Muskogee. He
accepted Christ at an early age and after high school he
joined the Air Force, later meeting his wife Corene Pearson.
