Kristy Lynn Day

Kristy Lynn Day was born November 6, 1974 in Las Vegas, NV to Ronald Lewis Day, Sr. and Barbara Day. She was the first of three children born to this union. Her father preceded her in death.

After graduating high school in 1993, Kristy attended beauty school on a scholarship for one year. Upon completion, she tried her hand at different occupations looking for her fit in life. Kristy worked at Whiskey Pete's Hotel & Casino, at Macy's, and Dollar Rent-A-Car before finding her niche in life. She found that she enjoyed the personal relationship that she could have with her clientele and decided that she preferred doing hair in comparison to the jobs that she had previously chosen.She built a database of clients as a Hairdresser that supported her and her children until her time of death. Kristy possessed a work ethic that was unreal. With this desire to succeed, she supported herself and her children. She knew her worth.

Kristy married Gary Shelton in 1998 and to this union two children were born. Her marriage ended in divorce and she maintained an amicable relationship with her ex-husband until her time of death. She added to her family in 2015 and she called them her trinity.

Kristy was baptized in the Name of Jesus here at the Church of the Lord Jesus where her grandmother is the Pastor. She attended church during her adult life and had a close relationship with God. Kristy was a very intelligent soul and had a way with words. She had her catch phrases that included Yessir, BAYBEEEEE Listen, It's been real.
