Hester Williams
Sunrise: September 2, 1928 Sunset: December 12, 2018
Hester was born to the proud parents of Johnnie and Frances Evans on September the 2nd 1928. Hester is the second child of fourteen children. She later married Elder Sidney Williams in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this union six children were born; three daughters and three sons.
Hester was always very organized, loved to give people orders to cook, especially her favorite niece Roselyn (black girl). Hester selected her friends very carefully and was never a stranger to anyone.
Hester lived in Richmond California, after living in Richmond California she moved to Los Banos California and then to Las Vegas, Nevada where God brought her home. Hester was a Top chef at Foster's Restaurant in Oakland, California for fifty years, during which she brought her brother in law Billy Bond and her two brothers David Evans and Virgil Evans to Foster's Restaurant where they all worked together. Hester's home was open to anyone who visited her, especially the Safeway warehouse workers; her brother and son in law and their friends. She never turned anyone away that was hungry, and she got it from her Momma Maya.
She loved her music Aretha Franklin, Bobby Blue Band and Tyrone Davis, (Turn back the hands of time).
Hester we are really going to miss you...
