Virgie Lee Robinson

Virgie Lee Robinson was honored her wings on September 9, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Virgie was born September 7, 1942 in Dangerfield, Texas to Jim Jimmerson and Ira Prince, whom preceded her in death. She attended school up until her early elementary years then she picked cotton in the fields. Virgie was a member of the House of Holiness COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Sanders, until set became ill and was unable to attend. She accepted Christ at a young age.
Virgie lived to see 78 beautiful and blessed years, she was a one of a kind type of woman. When she entered any room she brought plenty of love, laugh and joy. Virgie enjoyed good times with her family and friends, she loved playing cards, watching soaps operas, gambling, cooking soul food, listening yo the oldies, and getting her hair and nails done, because she loved getting pampered and being beautiful at all times. She spent a lot of time with her ace boon coon Shirley Cooper whom is her baby sister.
Virgie had a personality that could steal anyone's heart, she was so sweet, kind, giving, very loving person, she would give you the shirt off her back, and definitely would give you a big plate of her home cooked soul food. She was motivated and ambitious woman, who loved God, and it showed through her interaction with everyone. But she was also known to be sassy and had no problem with telling you how she felt, she was bold, strong, courageous, very independent, charismatic, a leader, and a role model.
She was an amazing mother, a great mother in law, sister, auntie, cousin and friend. Virgie was a fighter, she fought till she couldn't fight anymore. She was the Champ of all champs, a true Boss lady and matriarch. She always showed unconditional love to all she came in contact with.
Virgie love to tell stories about back in the days, how she was unable to finish school because she had to pick cotton at a young age, but she still managed to grow up to be very intelligent and unique woman.
