Betty Jean Knappenberger Born Jan. 11, 1947, she was 79 years old when she peacefully passed away at ProCare Hospice here in Las Vegas. Betty was born in Indiana County, Pennsylvania to Zenus and Winfred Hoover she had 2 brothers Richard the eldest who is still alive and Robert has also past . Betty is survived by her husband Neal Knappenberger stepsons, Richard and Paul along with stepsister Nona Salem. Grand children Abigial Salem and stepson Bryce. Betty loved to play cards or any good games and was a pretty good golfer. She and Neal went to many different states to play. But the best home away from Las Vegas was their home for 20 summers in Blanchard, Id. just above CD'A, Idaho. Betty decided to give her body to science so others might have a chance to live a little longer. Her ashes will be taken up to Idaho for a ceremony at our summer home.

Mmesoma-Morré Mercy-Clarissa Nwachukwu was born on August 6, 2025, a precious blessing sent from God. On December 22, 2025, she was gently called home to eternal rest. Though her time on earth was brief, her life carried divine purpose and left an everlasting imprint of love on the hearts of her family. From the moment she entered this world, Mmesoma embodied innocence, purity, and the beauty of God's creation. She was lovingly entrusted to her parents, Morris Nwachukwu and Shatawnee Robinson, who cherished her deeply and held her as a sacred gift from the Lord. Her gentle presence, though quiet and tender, brought immeasurable joy, hope, and unity to her family. Along with a beautiful smile and at times serious facial expressions. Although she was four and a half months, her soul had definitely been here before as she expressed that with her beautiful eyebrows. Especially when she watched her favorite cartoon. The Boss babies with her twin brother and big sister, Morris and Miyanna. Mmesoma's life serves as a reminder that God's plans are perfect, even when they are difficult to understand. While her family longed for more time, they find comfort in knowing that she now rests safely in the arms of Jesus, free from pain and sorrow. Her short life speaks powerfully of God's grace, mercy, and the sacredness of every soul. RC Valentine was born in Garland City, Arkansas, to parents who preceded him in death, his father, Rev. Jack Valentine, and his mother, Mamie Johnson. At the age of 14, R.C. relocated to Texarkana, Arkansas, where he later married and began raising his family. At 20 years old, he moved to California, and in 1972, he settled in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he remained until his passing. RC was employed as a gardener at the Tropicana, where his strong work ethic was evident. He was known for his infectious laughter, love of dancing, and his ability to bring joy to those around him. A man of faith, RC believed deeply in God and lived his life filled with love, kindness, and warmth. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever" He was married four times during his life, united in marriage to Cleo Cooper, Cora Lee Valentine, Deloris Valentine, and Beatric Valentine. RC was the proud father of nine children. Four preceded him in death: James Anthony Valentine, Marjorie Valentine, Martha Ann Valentine, and Robert Charles Valentine. He leaves to cherish his memory five loving daughters: Shirley Jean Valentine Turner, Bonnie Jean Lane, Wyomnie Valentine, Juanita Valentine Perry, and Lawana Deloris Valentine. Celebrating the life of Mildred Renee Hardison was born January 10, 1971, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Mary and James Jimerson. Renee moved from Las Vegas to Fordyce, Arkansas, at the age of four with her parents. Renee attended Patterson Elementary School and graduated from Fordyce High School. After graduating, she joined the Army and completed cosmetology school, where she became a talented hairstylist within her family and community. She was known for her sculpture ponytails and finger waves. She then decided to move back to Las Vegas, where she met her husband, Hythenial Hardison, and married on September 24, 1994. She enjoyed fishing, singing, dancing, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She kept candy and anything sweet with her at all times (even though she wasn't supposed to have it). Renee had such a kind heart, bright spirit, and the ability to bring joy to those around her. Her presence made the world a better place. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Mildred Mae Allen; Grandfather, Joseph Glasper; Grandmother Francis Harris; Grandfather Edward Jimerson; Aunt Doris Allen (Glasper); Aunt Marilyn Glasper; and Uncle Joseph Glasper. Jonathen DeHerrera, 52, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born with a calm spirit and a generous heart, Jonathen spent his life creating a warm, steady presence for all who knew him. For more than 20 years, Jonathen worked as a maintenance supervisor at Siegel Suites Paradise, a role in which he took great pride. His reliability, problem-solving nature, and quiet strength made him someone people could always count on. Whether at work or at home, he approached everything with patience and dedication. Jonathen was a devoted husband, sharing 33 years of marriage with the love of his life Lucera DeHerrera. Together they built a family that he cherished deeply. He is survived by his two sons Jonathen Jr & Jacob and daughter Xandria. As well as his beloved grandchildren Malachi, Pandora, Enoch, & the latest addition this year Lorelei who were his greatest joys. Some of his happiest moments were spent taking his grandkids on road trips, sharing laughter, stories, and the simple fun of being together. A relaxed and easygoing soul, Jonathen enjoyed unwinding with video games, finding both entertainment and peace in the hobby. Above all, he loved his family fiercely and lived each day with gratitude for the people around him. Jonathen will be remembered for his kindness, his steady presence, and the unconditional love he offered so freely. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Our mother Tauese Isabella Semeatu, was born in
Saleimoa, Samoa to Semeatu and Paepaetele Maiava. She was raised by her
aunt (her mother's sister) Aaone and late Rev. Enosa. She attended most of her
primary and secondary schooling in Manontai and later at A'ana College, Samoa.
Our mom moved to the village of Afonotele, American Samoa, to care and tend to
her parents and grandparents.
She also completed her last 2 years of secondary education at Samoana High
School in American Samoa. After High School, she attended and graduated
from America Samoa Community College (ASCC) in Malaeimi, class of 1980. Our mom
had a passion for higher education and pursued her dreams of getting her
Bachelor's degree from Chaminade University.
Our mom started her career with the Department of Education in America Samoa.
She was dedicated and committed to serving our government, community, families,
and the children of American Samoa as a teacher for 30 years. She taught at
Matafao Elementary School, Pago Pago Elementary, Afonotele Elementary School,
and Aua Elementary School. She became a pillar in the education system and was
recognized as Teacher of the Year many times.
Our mom was a God-fearing woman! She dedicated her time and service to her
church, community, family, and especially her children. She was a member of the
Afonotele Ekalesia Fa'apotopotoga Kerisiano I America Samoa (EFKAS) church. She
was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Mafutaga Tina. Our mom was also
an esteemed and respected member of her village of Afonotele. She was part of
the "Aualuma" (Talaleomalie, Faletua and Tausi) representing the
Matagaono Family.
After her retirement from the Department of Education in American Samoa, mom
decided to move to California to be with her children. She continued with the
Lord's work and became a member of the Long Beach First Congregational church
(EFKS) under the direction of her cousin Rev. Momoli and Mafa Papali'i. She
later moved to North Las Vegas, Nevada with her children and became a member of
the Ekalesia Fa'apotopotoga Kerisiano North Las Vegas church. She was later
appointed and serve as a Ta'ita'i Tiakono (Lead Deacon) for 5 years
Our mom love spending time tending to her garden, cleaning the yard and her
home, and taking care of her mother, children, and grandchildren. She also
loved having fun and enjoyed going to the Casinos and bingo. Our mom had
a heart of gold, who loved all and would open her heart and home to anyone. For
those who knew her, she was the life of the party and always the star of the
show. She was confident, funny, and strong. Yet, she was very humble, selfless,
compassionate, caring and loving. In her last remaining days despite the
obstacles she has faced, she continued to be selfless. She strived to care for
children and her grandchildren, including taking orders from lil' Vai. Mom, we
promised to keep your spirit and legacy alive. Always know that you are loved
by so many and will be missed by all, especially your children
