Sunrise: September 3, 2003 Sunset: June 23, 2020
Navaeh Emoni Smith, age 16, passed away on June 23rd, 2020 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born on September 9th, 2003 to Johneshia Smith, Kyonte Lock Sr and Corey Dunlap Sr. in Las Vegas,NV. From the moment Navaeh blessed this earth with her presence would automatically be known and felt. Her beautiful smile and dimples made it nearly impossible to have a bad day around her. Her laughter was one of a kind, contagious, and you could literally hear it from a mile away. Dancing and singing was Navaeh's passion. She would walk around all day, singing her favorite songs and posting Tic Toks while showing off her dance moves.
Navaeh was recently accepted in the Zeta Archonettes-Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. sisterhood and was really proud of her accomplishments. To say she will be missed is an absolute understatement ! To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Although it is painful to accept, Navaeh's mind is now at peace and she is now in a better place. One day we will all reach our day of judgement, but today Navaeh would love for you to live, smile breathe, and celebrate life. The goal isn't to live forever; the goal is to create something that will live forever. What Navaeh has created will be everlasting in the hearts and minds of those she touched. She may not physically be with us; however Navaeh's cries have been heard, and her tears were not in vain. The sound of those tears will build upon the legacy that she has created, and the seeds she planted within us all will grow endlessly. We hear you Baby Girl.
