Neal Bernard Lindsey Sr. was born to Ethel Olivia Meeks and Henry Lindsey in Bovina, Mississippi on February 28, 1944. Neal was raised by John Archie Jackson respectfully acknowledging him as his father. Neal left Mississippi in the early 60's traveling to California starting his own family, managing realty property, and beginning an apparel business. Later he traveled to Las Vegas joining other family and friends. Neal completed his education in 1989 with the State of NV. Dept. of Education. While managing his own shoeshine business he captured many hearts with his outstretched hand and catchy phrases making his name, "Magnificent Neal”, true to those who knew him well. Neal found God and was baptized in 2001 at Unity Baptist Church and later became an attendee of Evergreen Baptist Church in Las Vegas. Neal leaves to cherish his memories his children: Neal Bernard Lindsey Jr.; Carlos; Kalab; Lolita Lindsey and Gwyneth Chaneal Olive Lindsey. 7 sisters: Christine; Linda; Peaches; Loraine; Armonica; Faye; Tina. 3 brothers: Donald; Stanley and Oliver along with a host of many relatives and close friends. Proceeding Neal in death: Ethal Meeks, John Jackson, Curtis Lindsey, Earl Lindsey, Queen E. Lindsey, Glen L. Jackson, Terry Jackson, and Jurlene Jackson. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and acts of kindness during this time. Please continue to keep us in prayer and lifted before the Lord. Thank you.
