Mitchell Humphries

Mitchell James known to his family and friends as "MJ" was born June 6, 1986 to parents Paula Ann Crisler and David Wayne Humphries in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was the third of their four children. The family made their new home in Las Vegas, Nevada shortly after their fourth child.

MJ grew up going to church with his dad and his grandparents who had a strong foundation in Christ. Over the past few years MJ attended church services with his older sister where he recently gave his life to Christ and was blessed with the gift to make everyone laugh and smile, and capacity to love everybody. 

MJ was ambitious and graduated from Sierra Vista High School in 2004.

MJ played a very active role in the lives of his nieces Naryah and Nyema. Including walking them to and from school during their elementary years. This created a great and unbreakable bond between them. 

MJ was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to us all. 

He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends especially Deontae wherever there was one there was the other. He was a force to be reckoned with on his favorite PS4 games, family comedian, and all-around life of every party. MJ expressed his love through his ear to ear smile, he loved to entertain and live life to the fullest. he was even making the nurses smile during his recent stay in Summerlin hospital. Even though he was ill and weak his spirit was still as big as the sun. 

MJ made the transition from Earth to the arms of his Heavenly Father May 7th, 2019. 

MJ you will forever be missed in the physical but forever live on in our hearts and our memories!
