Larry Turner, 62 was a loving and caring man, who was born on December 5th, 1961 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late parents, Lizzie Turner and Melvin Turner Sr.. He departed this life on December 6th, 2023. Larry was the youngest of four children, whom all grew up together in New Orleans. After oldest brother Melvin Jr. moved to Las Vegas, Larry traveled between the two cities throughout his young adult life. During this time Larry created his four beautiful children, Larry Myles, Nikisha LeBlanc, Cherrell Turner, and Isiah Myles, affectionately known as “Biggie”. Larry was a strong provider & family man, working various jobs early on, between New Orleans & Las Vegas with great tenacity in order to thrive & support his young family he adored. In 1991 Larry officially relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada following both of his older brothers, where he remained in pursuit of new opportunities. Soon after relocating, he planted his feet in a local casino as a floor supervisor. Off the clock Larry would donate his time and service to his brother’s church, where he met the love of his life Cynthia. Larry and Cynthia joined in holy matrimony January 31, 1993, on Larry’s favorite day, Superbowl Sunday. He gained his very own trophy that night. Larry would later become a skilled tradesman specializing in carpentry, and home remodeling. Larry was a fun, easygoing, devoted father and family man who cherished spending time making memories with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren whom he had a special bond with. He enjoyed traveling, remodeling homes, getting pranked by his grandkids, and singing and dancing on TikTok. Larry is preceded in death by his mother and father, Lizzie and Melvin Turner Sr., his oldest brother Melvin Turner Jr., and his second son, Harvey McDaniel II. He leaves to cherish his memories his sweetheart & wife, Cynthia Turner. His sons, Larry and Isiah Myles. His Daughters, Nikisha LeBlanc, Cherrell Turner, Ashley Gaston, and Almitra Quintero. His Daughter-In-Law, Nicole Myles, and his Sons-In-Law, Ardell LeBlanc, Jorge Quintero, and Marquette Gaston Sr. His big brother Milton Turner, and his only sister Gene McAfee. 10 Gorgeous Granddaughters, 13 Handsome Grandsons, 1 beautiful great grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Psalm 34:18-19 18:

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
 19: The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;
Journey of My Life

It was beautiful as long as it lasted, the journey of my life.
I have no regrets whatsoever
save the pain I’ll leave behind.
Those dear hearts who love and care …
and the strings pulling at the heart and soul …
The strong arms that held me up
when my own strength let me down.
At every turning of my life I came across good friends,
friends who stood by me
even when time raced by me.
Farewell, farewell my friend.
I smile and bid you goodbye.
No, shed no tears for I need them not.
All I need is your smile.
If you feel sad do think of me for that’s what I’ll like.
When you live in the hearts of those you love
remember then, you never die.
