James Ike Mba of Las Vegas, Nevada, by way of Lagos Nigeria, was born on November 17, 1954, and departed this life on
January 19, 2023. James came to the US on a scholarship to UNLV where he competed in track and field. He was a gentleman who valued friendships. If you knew James, you would never forget him. He was colorful in his expressions and hard-set in his opinions. He was a diligent worker who loved his iob and took his responsibilities seriously. He leaves to cherish his memory Sheila Powell, a longtime partner, Okon Mbang a longtime friend, and the entire Powell Family. He is preceded in death by mom and dad, Rudy and Leatha Powell
