James came to the US on a scholarship to UNLV where he competed in track and field. He was a gentleman who valued friendships. If you knew James, you would never forget him.

He was colorful in his expressions and hard-set in his opinions.

He was a diligent worker who loved his iob and took his responsibilities seriously.

He leaves to cherish his memory Sheila Powell, a longtime partner, Okon Mbang a longtime friend, and the entire Powell Family. He is preceded in death by mom and dad, Rudy and Leatha Powell
