Hugh Terrell Mosley was born December 5, 1956 in Las Vegas NV, to Alma and Hugh Mosley. He was the second of three boys; some people know him as BB and some people know him as Terry. His brother Jerome called him Cheese and his father called him Mouse. His brother Leland recalls that when they were growing up, they played sports and was on several softball teams. Hugh was a prankster and along with his Cousin Chris they would play many pranks on his brother Jerome and Cousins Felicia and Michelle.
He graduated from Las Vegas high school class of 1974, and at school he was known for his many talents. Hugh played the clarinet in the Varsity Marching Band; he was also a track star. He placed first in many of his races and even won state. He was known on his track team as the galloping ghost because of speed.
From birth his mother took him to all the meetings at the Kingdom Hall and taught him about Jehovah, and as a child he never missed a convention and he travelled out of town to many of them. At a young age Hugh was teaching the Bible to the kids in his neighborhood and letting them know about Jehovah. He was very passionate about the resurrection, and telling people about how their dead loved ones would live again.
On July 8th 1972 Hugh was baptized as one of Jehovah Witnesses and attended meetings until his untimely death. He also knew that if he was to fall asleep in death, he will have a chance to live again in a peaceful world where he wouldn't have to worry about sickness, pain, and death anymore. On September 6th, 1975 Hugh married Gina Spencer. Hugh and Gina were married for over 46 years at the time of his death. Through their union they had four daughters and one son. Hugh was 17 years old when he started working in the culinary field, his first job was at the Mint hotel. He worked in the culinary field for over 36 years, until his health no longer allowed him to. Hugh had a chance to cook for everyone he even prepared a meal for the hall of fame baseball legend Ken Griffin Jr. and Frank Sinatra. If you knew Hugh you knew he was a huge sports fan. He'd talk sports every time he was able to do so. He was also a team parent no matter who the child was Hugh would help coach and guide them in their sport especially track and field. His favorite sports teams were the Raiders, LA Lakers and San Francisco Giants. Hugh had a saying "If you can't get down don't get down at all".
