Betty Jean Knappenberger Born Jan. 11, 1947, she was 79 years old when she peacefully passed away at ProCare Hospice here in Las Vegas. Betty was born in Indiana County, Pennsylvania to Zenus and Winfred Hoover she had 2 brothers Richard the eldest who is still alive and Robert has also past . Betty is survived by her husband Neal Knappenberger stepsons, Richard and Paul along with stepsister Nona Salem. Grand children Abigial Salem and stepson Bryce. Betty loved to play cards or any good games and was a pretty good golfer. She and Neal went to many different states to play. But the best home away from Las Vegas was their home for 20 summers in Blanchard, Id. just above CD'A, Idaho. Betty decided to give her body to science so others might have a chance to live a little longer. Her ashes will be taken up to Idaho for a ceremony at our summer home.

Mmesoma-Morré Mercy-Clarissa Nwachukwu was born on August 6, 2025, a precious blessing sent from God. On December 22, 2025, she was gently called home to eternal rest. Though her time on earth was brief, her life carried divine purpose and left an everlasting imprint of love on the hearts of her family. From the moment she entered this world, Mmesoma embodied innocence, purity, and the beauty of God's creation. She was lovingly entrusted to her parents, Morris Nwachukwu and Shatawnee Robinson, who cherished her deeply and held her as a sacred gift from the Lord. Her gentle presence, though quiet and tender, brought immeasurable joy, hope, and unity to her family. Along with a beautiful smile and at times serious facial expressions. Although she was four and a half months, her soul had definitely been here before as she expressed that with her beautiful eyebrows. Especially when she watched her favorite cartoon. The Boss babies with her twin brother and big sister, Morris and Miyanna. Mmesoma's life serves as a reminder that God's plans are perfect, even when they are difficult to understand. While her family longed for more time, they find comfort in knowing that she now rests safely in the arms of Jesus, free from pain and sorrow. Her short life speaks powerfully of God's grace, mercy, and the sacredness of every soul. RC Valentine was born in Garland City, Arkansas, to parents who preceded him in death, his father, Rev. Jack Valentine, and his mother, Mamie Johnson. At the age of 14, R.C. relocated to Texarkana, Arkansas, where he later married and began raising his family. At 20 years old, he moved to California, and in 1972, he settled in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he remained until his passing. RC was employed as a gardener at the Tropicana, where his strong work ethic was evident. He was known for his infectious laughter, love of dancing, and his ability to bring joy to those around him. A man of faith, RC believed deeply in God and lived his life filled with love, kindness, and warmth. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever" He was married four times during his life, united in marriage to Cleo Cooper, Cora Lee Valentine, Deloris Valentine, and Beatric Valentine. RC was the proud father of nine children. Four preceded him in death: James Anthony Valentine, Marjorie Valentine, Martha Ann Valentine, and Robert Charles Valentine. He leaves to cherish his memory five loving daughters: Shirley Jean Valentine Turner, Bonnie Jean Lane, Wyomnie Valentine, Juanita Valentine Perry, and Lawana Deloris Valentine. Celebrating the life of Mildred Renee Hardison was born January 10, 1971, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Mary and James Jimerson. Renee moved from Las Vegas to Fordyce, Arkansas, at the age of four with her parents. Renee attended Patterson Elementary School and graduated from Fordyce High School. After graduating, she joined the Army and completed cosmetology school, where she became a talented hairstylist within her family and community. She was known for her sculpture ponytails and finger waves. She then decided to move back to Las Vegas, where she met her husband, Hythenial Hardison, and married on September 24, 1994. She enjoyed fishing, singing, dancing, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She kept candy and anything sweet with her at all times (even though she wasn't supposed to have it). Renee had such a kind heart, bright spirit, and the ability to bring joy to those around her. Her presence made the world a better place. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Mildred Mae Allen; Grandfather, Joseph Glasper; Grandmother Francis Harris; Grandfather Edward Jimerson; Aunt Doris Allen (Glasper); Aunt Marilyn Glasper; and Uncle Joseph Glasper. On March 23, 1930, Dorothy Mae Hollins, the eldest of 13 children was born to the late Eugene and Susanna Dorsey in
Maringouin, LA. Early on she was baptized into the Catholic faith and continued to practice Catholicism as a member of
St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, in Compton, CA for over 25 years and later at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in
Las Vegas, NV until her transition.
Dorothy began her education at West Oak Lane where she attended and completed 7th grade. At the age of 21 she moved to
California. Being raised in a large family, Dorothy organically developed her housekeeping and caregiver skillets. She later
used these abilities to attain several domestic positions. One of her most significant roles, was the "day's work" she performed
for Dr. and Mrs. Jackson and their children. Dorothy cherished the time she spent with the Jackson family and would often
share stories from her experiences there, such as eating Mrs. Jackson's bread, the preschool age Jackson girls sneaking out to
"Kiddie Land" or how she feared the local reptiles near the Jackson home.
When her first husband Sterling Robertson transitioned in 1976, she sought full-time work to support her family. Dorothy
then began her career with Kaiser Permanente and retired with 18 years of service in 1994. She trained and mentored others
on the proper way to prepare hospital rooms for surgery. Dorothy fully committed to excelling in any job she was given, and
her work ethic was unparalleled.
Dorothy married her second husband in 1986 William (Bill) Hollins and together they relocated to North Las Vegas, NV. Here
is where she began to expand her love for dogs. So much so, she would often make trips to Los Angeles with her beloved "Petey".
In her spare time, you could find Dorothy gardening and manicuring her lawn. She grew a variety of vegetables and fruits,
such as okra, tomatoes, collard greens, and apricots. At times there was more produce than she could consume, so you would
find Dorothy knocking on her neighbor's doors sharing her yield.
Dorothy assumed the mother and grandmother role to many outside of her family. She would congratulate, praise or reprimand
anyone deserving the response. Although she wasn't large in stature, she would assertively tell complete strangers, "Now you
know you need a jacket on" with that uniquely high-pitched voice of hers. Being the eldest of 13 children, family was always
first priority and she made herself available to them. Rather it be just to say hello and I love you or to make sure you took
your medicine and followed doctor's orders. Dorothy was an innated caregiver.
To cherish her memory, Dorothy leaves behind her daughter, Joycelyn Dorsey; grandchildren, Camile Bowie and Christopher
Cavalier; sisters, Mattie Young, Susie Dorsey, Janice Womber, Elizabeth Ann Scott, Eugenia Crook and Glenda Donaldson;
brothers, Harold Dorsey and Donald Dorsey; God-appointed daughters, Robin Coleman, Jennifer Jackson, Jody Jackson and
Diana Jackson, eight great-grandchildren; an aunt, Dorothy Dorsey and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband; William Hollins; parents, Susanna and Eugene Dorsey; daughter, Gail Robertson;
sisters, Geneva Dixon, Shirley Mae Foy, and Mildred Anderson; and brother, Eddie Dorsey.
