Danita LaToya Harris was born on October 13, 1980 to Mary Jo Adanandus-Bell and Darnell Lee Harris in Las Vegas, NV. She was the 3rd of four children. She graduated from Chaparral High School in 1999, and attended Marinello Schools of Beauty where she received her license as a Nail Technologist.
She met her sweetheart and the love of her life, Marcu'ces A. McNeal in 1998. They built a long time loving relationship and had three beautiful children, Marcu'cesia Ache' McNeal, Meya Azhane' McNeal and Maurece Darnell McNeal. She was a be-loved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and co-worker.
Danita worked at the Surgical Weight Loss Center for 18 years as a Surgery Scheduler. In July 2018, she started her new job at OptumCare Cancer Care, Breast Cancer Center as a Surgery Scheduler for breast cancer patients until she was called home on October 25, 2019.
Danita was a cheer mom for the Las Vegas Texans and the Las Vegas Nova. She assisted with scheduling all of the performances, organizing fundraisers, bringing snacks and drinks for the girls. She also traveled with the teams for out-of-town games. She attended every practice and love spending the entire day on the football fields watching her girls cheer. In spite of her challenges with breast cancer, she was determined to attend all of the Las Vegas Nova competitions and performances until September 2019.
Danita was a fun, loving and kind-hearted person. She touched the lives of so many and always had a willingness to help everyone that needs a helping hand. She loved her family and was adored by them.
