After his retirement Cedric took on the assignment of becoming a Commercial Driver across the United States of America. He then met his Wife in Amarillo, Texas and retired in 2019. During his prime Cedric was on the road to adventures. Cedric did not let a day pass by without having done something productive. He enjoyed many hobbies such as constructing, fishing, golfing, camping, making his friends and family laugh, and educating. To define Cedric in 4 words it would be thinker, dreamer, visionary, and builder, Cedric lived by what kept him safe, and at peace when he would travel on those long road trips, they gave him great peace

We had a wonderful uncle,
One who never really grew old;
His smile was made of sunshine,
And his heart was solid gold;
His eyes were as bright as shining stars,
And in his cheeks fair roses you see.
We had a wonderful uncle,
And that’s the way it will always be.
But take heed, because
He’s still keeping an eye on all of us,
So let’s make sure
He will like what he sees.

Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy”
