Thelmar Jean Brown was born on July 23, 1951, she was
the eleventh of thirteen children born to the late Fred and
Mary Boley in Winnsboro, LA. Thelmar was baptized at
an early age at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Winnsboro, LA.

She graduated from Franklin Parish
High School in 1969. Thelmar later moved to Monroe in
1069 where she attended Delta Community College
where she studied business. In 1976, Thelmar moved to
Las Vegas, Nevada where she joined the City of
Las Vegas helping the youth in the community. She also
had an additional role of helping adults with disabilities,
where she was greatly loved and appreciated.

Thelmar also joined New Light Missionary Baptist Church.
Thelmar provided support and love to all her family and
was known as the caretaker of the family. In addition, she
was known as "the handy man / woman" of the family.

Thelmar was a loving and giving mother, grandmother, sister,
aunt, and friend. Thelmar enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
Thelmar touched many lives with her warm and giving spirit,
her legacy will live on in all the lives she touched.
Her work here on earth was finished on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022,
now she is resting in the arms of the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters
Enda Williams, Eunice Boley, Martha Boley, Ruby Essissima,
Essie Boley, Cleather Boley-Johnson, Ora Gordon, and brother Fred Boley Jr.
Thelmar leaves to celebrate her life and continue her
legacy three daughters and one son: Tonya Coulberson
(Delaney) of Monroe LA, Monica Brown of Las Vegas
NV, Rentia Brown of Monroe LA, and Henry Brown
(Myke) of Las Vegas NV, ten grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. Thelmar is survived by three siblings
Pearlie Stagg and Carl Boley of Winnsboro, LA and
Margrett Boley of Atlanta, Georgia.
She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
